To sleep, perchance to dream.....

I am glad to say that Paris is doing pretty well on just the large dose at night of the hycodan. Neither one of the pain meds did anything. He sleeps through the night and so I get to sleep also. Boy was I getting grouchy! Something had to give.
He still has his morning coughing fit and some during the day but I'd say he is doing pretty good for an old blind guy.

  1. Hey Paris isn't old! (lol) He's about 11 now right? My mom had a yorkie like Paris who lived to about 20 - now she was an old girl!

I'm glad to hear both you and Paris are finally getting some much needed sleep. As always, I wish you both the best!

  2. Hi Lori Yes Paris is just 11. He'll be 12 in April. Hopefully. Thanks as always for keeping up with his saga, and encouraging me. Hope all is well with you also. Happy Holidays.

  3. I can't help but to keep myself updated with you and Paris :)

My little guy went blind (from SARDS) about a month after Paris did and I followed your blog after you posted a link in the blind dogs website. Its almost like I have a long distance buddy going through the same things I'm going through. Giving me great advice when I need it or just some words of encouragement or reasons to be thankful for what we have.

In the end, this blog you do really has helped me greatly and made me feel that I'm not alone in my pain to see my dog struggling with blindness. I'm positive there are many more people out there you have helped with Paris's story too. I hope that I will get to read more great posts for a long time :)
